One landmine removed, one family saved.
The Thai Civilian Deminer Association (TDA) clears landmines along Thailand’s borders under the Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC). We return safe land to communities and help mine-affected families build new livelihoods.

Clearance and land release
Survey, clearance and handover of land, following TMAS and IMAS under TMAC.

SIMA survey method
Survey to Identify Mined Area, a process TDA developed for Thai conditions (2016–2018).

Community livelihoods
Vocational training for landmine survivors and local people, from mushroom farming to organic cassava.

Expertise sharing
Advice on demining in Thailand and abroad, most recently preparing for clearance work in Ukraine.

Why TDA
Most of our members have cleared mines in Thailand since the Level One Landmine Impact Survey in 2000. Our teams work in dense, remote forest, camping on site for at least three days at a time. Trusted relationships with local military units help keep clearance moving along the border.
