Tentative Working Sites of TDA (Highest Priority Minefields in Thailand)

All activities
Thailand should clear 77 high priority minefields in jurisdiction areas as soon as possible to prevent unexpected landmine accident that can cause death and injury to innocent people. TMAC alone can undertake the clearance task on those minefields, but will not finish timely enough to preventing accident. It really needs collaboration from organization that has well-versed deminers who have long been working in mine clearance in Thailand. Thai Civilian Deminer Association (TDA), therefore, plans to help clear 21 high priority minefields with total area of 3,805,585 sq. m. along border areas with Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia (please see list below). These highest priority minefields really pose imminent threat to local people as they just situate in proximity of local communities. Many of them also block development projects that otherwise can bring about income distribution in local. TDA realizes that they must be cleared timely and therefore plan very earnestly to begin clearance operation on these highest priority minefields.
